Tik-Tok API Integration

Integrating ThriveTracker and TikTok accounts enables Thrive to piggyback conversions to TikTok with payout, currency, and event name information.

Before You Start
There are several things required for setting up tracking. Make sure you have the following before you dig into this guide:
  • An active Thrive account.
  • An active TikTok account.
Once you have everything ready, proceed with the rest of this guide.

 

 

SET UP INTEGRATION

In order to integrate, do the following steps:

  1. Go to https://ads.tiktok.com/i18n/dashboard/

  2. Click Assets then Events

  3. Open Web Events

  4. Click on Create Pixel

  5. Enter Pixel Name and select "Manually Set Up Events API", then click Setup:

  6. When Modal closes, click Next.

  7. Save your Pixel ID and generate Access Token:

  8. Enter Pixel ID and Access Token in Thrive Pixel and Conversions settings:

To send conversions to TikTok you must send one of the TikTok events with your Thrive postback URL. You can find all available events here.

Example postback:
https://example.com/conv?tid=&offerid=&amount=&subid=XXXXXXXXXXXX&s1=&s2=&s3=&s4=&s5=&tiktok_event_name=ViewContent
