This is a guide on how to set up some of the more common traffic source postbacks and pixels inside of your ThriveTracker account.
Tokens and Parameters
For ALL traffic sources where you are setting a postback for them, your token to pass in the unique clickID will be {externalid}.
In the custom variable boxes below the postback field, you will see an External ID row. This is where you need to place the token (placeholder) provided by the traffic source for the clickID. This needs to be the exact token from their platform in order for the source to pass us that unique ID. This is required for postback tracking.
The parameter box of the External ID row can be anything you wish the parameter in the campaign URL to be.
By adding those 2 items, this will automatically add them to your campaign link inside of your Thrive campaign. Any existing links that you have placed with the traffic source will need to be updated after you make changes here.

Facebook normally provides a html based pixel. You can place this in Thrive as either the type (javascript, iframe, image) or as raw code.
External ID is not required for any html based pixels, so no need to add that in here.
Please make sure when using a cookie/html based third party pixel, that you have Thrive's iframe pixel placed on your offer with the affiliate network. This is because if you have postback placed, it will only allow you to fire off traffic source postbacks. In order to fire a traffic source html pixel (iframe, img, java, other raw code) you must place Thrive's iframe pixel on the offer level.
