If you will be capturing custom variables from your traffic source, such as creative ID, source, placement, keywords, or endless others and want to view stats for each, there are a few different reports you could utilize.
Inside of Specific Campaign - Other Variables Report
If you click into a specific campaign, you will see an Other Variables tab at the top of the page. Navigate there and then select the Custom Variable dropdown. You can select any of your custom variables here to view stats for each. In the example below, we have a campaign set up with Facebook as our source and want to view the breakdown by Facebook campaign ID, which we have set up as a custom variable on our traffic source template in Thrive.
Inside of Specific Campaign - Drill-Down Report
If you navigate in a specific campaign to the Drill Down tab at the top of the screen, you can group by a single or multiple custom variables amongst other factors.
You can select any date range and timezone you wish to view this breakdown by as well.
Once selected, this will run a drill-down report similar to the below breakdown:
Advanced Reports - Drill Down
Similar to the campaign drill-down report, this will allow you to drill down by any custom variable(s) along with any other variables you wish to view. This tab however allows you to select numerous campaigns if you wish to view more than just the one.
Click / Conversion Log - CSV Export
The click/conversion log is going to be your most detailed report. It shows every single click and conversion that comes through Thrive along with it's specific details.
If you export this report, you will be able to see the custom variable that is tied to every click or conversion.
