Some affiliate networks set a conversion limit on their offers, also known as a cap. The cap can be daily, weekly, monthly, or even unlimited.
Thrive allows you to set your cap on the offer level so you don't have to worry about exceeding the limit. You can set this up when you first create the offer or at any time after by navigating to the offer card.
Daily caps will reset each day at Midnight.
Weekly caps will reset each Sunday night at Midnight.
Monthly caps will reset on the last day of the month at Midnight.
If your offer does not need a cap, you can leave it set to Unlimited.
Once the cap is set, you will be able to view how many conversions have gone towards that cap in your reporting. For example, the below cap is set to 20 conversions daily (D) and so far 0 conversions have occurred. The counter will go up as conversions to that offer come through.
Once the cap hits, you don't have to worry about exceeding it as Thrive will automatically set the offer to inactive in the rotation (until the cap resets) and will redirect to the other offer(s) set up in your campaign rotation. It's important that if you have an offer with a cap that you add at least 1 other offer to your campaign rotation.
