To effectively record conversions using ThriveTracker, you have two options at your disposal: Postback URL conversion tracking and Pixel conversion tracking.
Postback URL Conversion Tracking: Postback URLs operate on a server-based system rather than relying on cookies. These postbacks are triggered based on the subid (also known as clickID). You can pass this subid using the "&subid=" parameter within Thrive's postback URL, utilizing the token provided by your network.
To enable conversion tracking through the Postback URL (S2S), you need to access Thrive's 'Global Postback URL,' which can be found within the 'Tracking' section under 'Pixels & Postback.'
To ensure accurate conversion tracking with the Global Postback URL, you must make two critical adjustments on your end:
Include Network's Unique Token: Your Global Postback URL should contain the network's unique token for the click ID in Thrive's subid parameter. For example:
https://yourdomain.com/conv?amount=&tid=&subid={Networks token for unique click ID}
You should contact your Network representative to obtain the specific parameter for the unique click ID.
Pass Thrive's {subid} to Your Network: It's crucial to pass Thrive's {subid} parameter to your network via their offer URL within Thrive. For instance:
https://www.myoffer.com?Networks token for unique click ID={subid}
Once these adjustments are complete, share the Global Postback URL with your Network so that they can implement it on their side. This collaborative effort ensures the accurate tracking of conversions.
By following these steps, you can effectively employ ThriveTracker for precise conversion tracking in your campaigns using Global Postback URL.
Iframe and Image Pixels are HTML-based tracking mechanisms that offer a straightforward approach to monitor conversions. The primary requirement for implementing these pixels is their placement immediately preceding the closing </body> tag within the source code of your Thank You or Conversion page.
It's important to note that Iframe and Image Pixels operate by utilizing a visitor's cookies to trigger and record a conversion event. This means that they rely on information stored in a visitor's web browser to function effectively.
Iframe/Image pixels are also found in the 'Tracking' section under 'Pixels & Postback.'
Iframe and Image Pixels are convenient and simple tools for conversion tracking. By inserting them into your web page's source code appropriately, just before the closing </body> tag, you can effectively capture conversion data. However, it's essential to be aware that these pixels depend on the presence of cookies in a visitor's browser to activate and track conversions accurately.
